Research to determine if replay with no undo session makes sync significantly faster

test a replay with and without undo sessions to see if it would be worthwhile to quickly determine LiB from the headers to guarantee no branches, and therefore be able to sync without an undo session.

Are there any potential issues that could stem from an invalid block during apply, or is there already validation prior to apply that would preven this?
