Implement the core protocol-level infrastructure required to support event emission, validation, and commitment. This forms the foundation for all other Events functionality.

Definition of Done:

  • Events can be emitted by smart contracts
  • Event data is tracked in consensus state
  • event_root is computed and validated by all nodes
  • Configurable epoch size parameter exists
