UI issues with File → Save as

noticed some issues with the File → Save as.

• version 0.30.3
• made an XSECTION of a sky130A Layout and wanted to save it as a DXF:
  
• next I choose the format from the popup button list and the filename xsection.dxf
  
• then I get this window:
  

Issues observed:

1. the chosen filename is not getting respected, instead .oas is appended (might be a side-effect of point 2)
2. Instead of chosen format DXF, OASIS is selected
3. Warning text is clipped vertically
4. Warning text is clipped vertically

In addition, in the format popup button list everything is listed twice:

Potentially there's also a DXF serialization problem (or Inkscape has a bug), when trying to open the DXF with Inkscape:

It does open successfully in LibreOffice:

Hi Martin,

the DXF implementation of KLayout is pretty sparse - it may lack some important detail that Inkscape needs. After all, DXF is not a favorable format for mask making IMHO. Streamlining it for better conformance with other tools is on my TODO list for long, but not with high prio.

Regarding the UI issues, they seem to be pretty MacOS or Qt specific.

KLayout uses QFileDialog::getSaveFileName to get the file name. The default extension is added only when no extension is given and based on the selected filter (which is returned by 'getSaveFileName'). So something seems awefully wrong here. The duplication of the filter entries indicates that maybe the stream plugins are loaded twice. These are shared objects found in the "db_plugins" or "lay_plugins" paths. Maybe that folders are populated with multiple versions of the same plugins?

With the exception of the collapsed warning label (which is somewhat intentional and will grow when you enlarge the window) there is neither the duplication of file types nor the wrong addition of ".oas". At least not on Linux or Windows.

Code wise everything is in "layFileDialog.cc".

Maybe someone can confirm if the problem is a MacOS specific one.

I can say it happens on M1 Mac, sometimes (I've not found the pattern) I get a duplicate or wrong extension.
To avoid it, have a "plain" filename without extension ..
