perl 5.28.1: Segmentation fault in Solaris SPARC64

Perl 5.28.1 is throwing core dump in SOLARIS SPARC64.

From June 20th, Perl 5.28 will no longer be supported. We might still release another maint version of 5.28 with a fix but it's not a top priority.
