Required Information
Description
This is a change to cover any standard tools that do not require a financial investment and do not ingest any progcode community member information
Problem
Need to have a streamlined way to add new software/tools/accounts with a standard process to validate the item, ensure there are no risks and communicate changes over time. However, not every such item should necessarily require a unique change to be created
Benefit
This process will provide flexibility and agility while preventing potential risk for adding new software/tools/accounts. This will also serve as a single source of truth for all such future requests
Plan
- Share this change with @LPaulson1985 (proposer) and @stephenscapelliti for initial feedback
- Share this change in the Slack #operations channel
- Review this standard change in the February 21, 2022 Community Ops Meeting
- For newly proposed items, create a comment on this change with the proposed tool the required details (Name, requestor, website, purpose, privacy policy/data risk assessment)
- Any item must include [email protected] as an administrator account
- Accounts must be signed up for using a @progcode.org email address
- If a community member has any issues regarding any potential future software/tools/accounts, they should add a comment to this thread and raise the conversation in the #operations channel
Decision Making
Content to implement. Open for 72 hours beginning February 21, 2022 at 8 PM EST
