GetRasPlex just hangs on Mac

I have GetRasPlex Installed on the Mac. When I try to run it, it just hangs, and hangs, and hangs. 

I do not get anything asking for a login. 

I eventually get an error message that reads: "AppleEvent timed out. Terminal got an error. AppleEvent timed out. (-1712)"

I am running macOS Sierra 10.12.6.
