In the Rocket.Chat web application, users can generate and manage Personal Access Tokens under their user account settings. This feature allows users to authenticate API requests securely. However, this option is missing in the Rocket.Chat mobile application creates an inconsistency in account management capabilities.
Motivation and Use Case
The inability to view or manage tokens on mobile limits administrative and development flexibility when users are away from their desktops.
Implementation Ideas
Add a "Personal Access Tokens" section under account settings in the mobile app, allowing users to create, view, and revoke tokens similarly to the web interface.
