Question about gallery management #2009

Hello everyone, I'm generally experienced when it comes to Turbowarp extensions but I haven't seen much information on the McUtils extension. I noticed in the extensions.json file that a comment says it's always supposed to be at the bottom, and upon further observation this extension is a useless "joke" extension that doesn't really do anything helpful, and it literally says that at the top of the extensions' JS code. Why can't we just hide it from the gallery? |

Because of we hide any extension, people just start making issues asking where it is. |

but if it's a pointless extension and it's already at the bottom of the gallery and no one's using it then I don't see a reason why we can't hide it. |

The fact is that someone has already used this extension in their projects, and if we delete this extension, the projects that used this extension will break. |

the suggestion is to hide the extension from the gallery, not delete it. extensions are never deleted |

Your definitive answer, McUtils was a ONE OFF joke extension made by Lily, it is the only and last of it's kind that the gallery will have, as to keep issues to a minimum from it's "weirdness". We CANNOT hide it from the gallery as people will create issues and complain that it went missing, it's more of a "compatibility" and consistency with the people thing. It is kept at the bottom mainly because the fact it is a joke extension, it take's eye's away from it more. |
