Misleading exception while failing to deserialize an argument is passed in Navigation Service

When I pass in a Model that has a property of type Windows.UI.Xaml.Media.Brush it leads to a StackOverflowException rather I think it should throw a DeserializationException or a Runtime Exception with a message or such sorts.
