Standarizing dependencies required by individual MCP server

Are there guidelines on what dependencies we should or shouldn't use in each a MCP server and their version?

I expect this to evolve over time. What we established so far for Python MCP servers as required per our design guidelines:

1. modelcontextprotocol/python-sdk for MCP using FastMCP
2. Loguru for structured logging
3. Pydantic for tool argument Field validation and descriptions

Beyond that, I think ordinary, prudent dependency choices apply like any other software--maintained and active dependencies, secure dependencies (e.g. pip audit or snyk), easy to install if other system dependencies are required (e.g. graphviz for the diagrams python library).
