CNCFSD-1653 Looking for help to redesign knative.dev website

Knative.dev Website Redesign: Knative team is seeking assistance to redesign the knative.dev website, with a focus on highlighting knative's simplicity and adopter stories.

In particular, I think we’re looking for help with redesigning the homepage, which currently has a number of issues:

1. No video content. I realize we need to produce the video, but we should find a place for “what this project is about” on the main page.

2. No clear overview of the value proposition (vs a lot of buzzwords). This probably requires work between the Steering Committee and someone with marketing background to help refine.

3. The “Why serverless containers” section has a bunch of icons inside stop signs. We probably need some iconography help here when we spell out these benefits.

4. The “Knative Components” sections takes up a lot of space with an image which isn’t very explanatory, and looks very flat / 2010s-powerpoint.

5. We have 4 call to action buttons scattered through the text with different words on each. That’s probably at least 1 too many.

I think we’re fairly happy with the rest of the content which uses Material for MkDocs. While I wouldn’t necessarily expect the level of polish of that site, some other sites that look better (to me) for CNCF or open-source projects include:

• Envoy proxy - home

• fluentbit

• Cilium - Cloud Native, eBPF-based Networking, Observability, and Security

• SPIFFE – Secure Production Identity Framework for Everyone

• https://mindersec.dev/ (non-CNCF)

Since this is a single-page design, I think it’s fine for this to be done in HTML / Figma rather than via markdown. Our current page is also HTML, here: https://github.com/knative/docs/blob/main/overrides/home.html
