Feature request: notifications, image insertion

Would be nice to have an option to turn on push notifications in browser. Also image attachment (I know this may not be feasible from a storage perspective, so maybe encrypting images and using another platform for storage?)

Just thinking aloud. I don't have capabilities to contribute, but maybe these would be useful for everyone.
