On this line, the directory name should be computed based on Time.now or something, because hardcoded as is, it will produce write permissions error if the gem is used by more than one unix user (the directory will belong to the first one using docsplit, all others will have write errors).

You can use the -o, --output [DIR] option to change this behaviour and have no error on this specific use.

This has been reverted, and i recommend what Natim suggests. The tmp directory here has to be predictable so that other parts of docsplit can reach it, i'd be happy to consider pull requests.
