Cannot compile MAUI project - NuGet references to Microsoft packages fail

I can’t tell what it is but every time I open my MAUI project in Visual Studio, the NuGet package references show errors:

Visual Studio doesn’t show the reason for these package references to fail.

What is causing this error? Please help, I’m not able to compile and finish my project.
