Cannot add a new line (shift+enter) in a bullet without it creating another new bullet

Great api!

I've tried every and all combinations to try to get the result below but no luck. I even tried adding text after a bullet and using inset to mimick it, but inset does not seem to work either. \n and \r and their combinations were also tried.

Is there a way to update the api to achieve the below?

• line 1
  new line within the same bullet
• line 2

Had the same issue recently. The workaround is to break the string on \n and only add the bullet to the first string. The next one(s) you can add an empty space bullet -> bullet: { code: '0020' }.

If it was a numbered list, you would get disordered numbers because it resets to 1 when you start bullet-ing the next line. In which case you can utilize the 'startAt' property and set it to the correct order.

I had the same issue. Is there a way to add an option to ignore new line characters so it does not create additional bullets?
