Add section "Inbox"

It is very convenient for users who use the GTD system to add an inbox section.

Now we have to create a trash-project "Inbox", write all the tasks into it, and then distribute them among projects, add tags, a description and so on.

Hey there! Thanks for the input! Could you maybe specify how such an Inbox would work? When and how should items be removed? When and how should items be added to it?

Inbox-a container in which tasks are collected tasks that need to be processed and distributed.

For example, use:

I come to the office at 8 am. While the coffee is brewing, I'm collecting a list of tasks that will first come to mind:

1. Check the front-end of the Client 1
2. Write an e-mail to the Client 2
3. Buy milk at home
4. Make an estimate for advertising to the Client 3
5. Hold a meeting with the team
   and 20 other tasks...

The coffee is ready. I cheered up. The brain woke up. I'm starting to supplement them:

1. Check the front-end of the detailed product page on the Client's website 1. Specify the description, link to the page, design layout. I assign the project, tags. I assign a priority.
2. Write an e-mail that we are overdue for the Client 2. I outline a letter plan, find the client's e-mail and fix it. I assign the project, tags. I assign a priority.
3. My wife can buy milk, so I just throw the task out of the list.
   etc...

After 20-30 minutes of planning the day, I start working.

Now I don't need Inbox and I'm focused on important things.

I come up with 10-20 more tasks per day. In order not to break away from the workflow and not waste time describing tasks, I write them in my Inbox, and at the end of the day or the next morning I describe them in more detail.

Hi, great idea! I like to work like that myself. I have an "inbox" tag and keep that for quick ideas that I later translate into more detailed tasks. Do you think that could work for you too?
Or do you have a any additional functionality in mind that this "inbox" tag or separate feature should have?

An inbox is a place where actionable tasks/projects/notes/"stuff" goes. From the inbox, you can sort the actionable "stuff" into single tasks, make them into projects (which GTD defines as basically a collection of tasks), reference material, or garbage.

One of the things I like about GTD-focused apps like https://everdo.net/ is that there's a shortcut to add a quick idea to the Inbox without breaking away from the current context. Super Productivity gets most of the way there by being able to add an Inbox project and then easily add a task like "quick idea +inbox", but it could be nice to have a keyboard/mouse shortcut to quickly add a task to that project from any area of the app.

What I did was change the leading today tag with Inbox. I never really use the today tag. I then created a "next actions" project, and all of my other project lists as projects.

Is there a solution to add a task to the "inbox" without leaving the project page you are on?
If this doesn't exist, it would be a huge plus for daily management...
