Launcher not updating if installed on a custom directory

Please confirm the following.

• I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems
• I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
• I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date

What version of the Modrinth App are you using?

Cant check because of the issue

What operating systems are you seeing the problem on?

Describe the bug

So i tried to launch Modrinth and it started to update and then i got this error. It tried to install to C:\Program files\ when it should install to D:\modrinth\Modrinth App\
And when i click retry nothing happens.
I think putting it in Program Files could solve the issue but for example i have almost no space on C:\ and i would rather have Modrinth installed in D:\

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Modrinth in an custom directory
2. Wait for an update
3. Launch it

Expected behavior

Modrinth updating to the newest version

I had Modrinth installed in an AppData subfolder in my kid's profile, so it could install without UAC. But every time it runs the update, it still tried to install in C:\Program Files which it had no authority to.
