Disc subtitle artwork

Hello!

One of the reasons I moved to an OpenSubsonic solution was because of its disc subtitle support, but currently there's no support for related artwork, which is especially important when you consider that it's the standards way of tagging box sets.

Would it be possible, in addition to displaying the disc subtitle, to display an associated image too? From a storage/indexing perspective I'd expect the artwork to reside alongside the associated tracks having the name of the disc subtitle tag e.g.
./01.01.flac
./Please Please Me.jpg

Here's an example of what this looks like in another system (I've reduced track count to keep the image small):

I have a number of compilations with disc subtitle artwork too, so it's not purely for box sets (just in case a better solution to tagging box sets arrives).

It appears from the documentation that it should belong to the disctitle extension.

Hello! This is a nice addition, I would gadly implement this in LMS.
Adding a coverArt field seems to be the way to go.

Now that disc artwork has been implemented in LMS - and it appears there is some interest from the Navidrome side - how do we get this into OS and Symfonium, assuming that you think it's a worthy inclusion?
This serves as yet another distinguishing factor that sets opensubsonic apart from other music servers/systems.

From users yes many, I now support mediatype and release status in Symfonium parser. MediaType original usage is album level, but many users goes track level too for compilations and other cases. It's in all cases never disc / work related.

Yes that's what I was referring to, which in a data model might look something like:
[TRACK (id, medium_id)]> n-1 <[MEDIUM (id, discnumber, mediatype_id)]> n-1 <[MEDIATYPE (id, 'CD/SHM/SACD')]

I don't understand the statement "in all cases never disc related". Do we speak about the same tag? Possible values are "CD", "SACD", "DVD", rtc. which are naturally disc level. I think picard always put it at disc level.
(AFAIU original media type may be different for each track in compilations)

From all users reports they only ever used it at album / track level. But checking my data
maybe it is disc level.
With that said I'm not sure there's many apps actually splitting data at disc level and were you could search a disc for a specific media type.
