How to increase the staff count?

So, the Perl IRC network looks like it has a bus factor of 1 (RIP mst, and thank you @perigrin for hanging in there).

What can be done to improve this situation?

Funnily enough that's what the neodynium project I started this weekend is about. I'm restructuring the infrastructure to a) be manageable by a very small team and b) be inheritable by someone other than myself

Would you be up for joining the TPRF community roundtable next month, to talk about this, and the IRC infrastructure in general? (meeting iCal file; next one is Sep 19 at 17:30 UTC, I think?)

For those who aren't familiar with the roundtable: Meetings are on zoom; there's a dedicated channel on the TPRF slack server, the meetings are recorded, and hopefully the TPRF folks can get through their backlog and create some visibility around any ongoing work that is presented in this forum.

I intended to join for the August one but like several others I missed the time. I will endever to make September 19th but I'm not sure what my schedule is like ... there are a lot of plates spinning in my personal life right now.
