import .yaml variable file show red

App: RIDE V2.0b1
Os: Win 10

Hi, Im trying import a ,yaml variables file, but in ride it show red. then try the example
from this link http://robotframework.org/robotframework/latest/RobotFrameworkUserGuide.html#id656, then got the same result. PyYaml already installed, in RIDE-Log show nothing about this error.

then i close the ride, then run it again, it works!!

any idea? thanks.

YAML variable files must have either .yaml or .yml extension. Support for the .yml extension is new in Robot Framework 3.2.

I am not able to add .yml file in RIDE

@rbradhika530 YAML (and Python) are not part of the Test Suites projects. They can be used but they are not parsed by RIDE.
It will be a nice feature, but no plans to do it now.

after doing this as per FAQ, still beta version is there, I need to install v1.7.4.2
