Description
When writing test cases it is a common scenario to start typing and use auto completion feature to fill the cell. If the selected keyword has embedded argument, the first thing you want to do after that is reenter the cell and fill in the actual arguments. I usually do this is using only keyboard actions:
- Press Left arrow key to select the just auto completed cell
- Press F2 to start editing
- Use the arrow keys or home/end to navigate to the argument
- Overwrite the ${argument}
Step three is now blocked by the auto complete that keeps moving the cursor to the end of the cell, making it impossible to reach the argument.
When embedded arguments are present I feel step 1 shouldn't even be needed. I would prefer that the cell stays open for editing in this case. But that is a different issue.
Work around: Grab the mouse, double click the argument and start typing. Once something was changed the auto complete gets out of the way and the cell can be edited as you would expect.
