I build and manage bespoke WordPress themes, migrated, and hosted many sites. Now gravitating into the seductive framework UI/UX realm. Over the recent years I've built sites and contributed to projects in NextJS, Sveltekit, Ghost, React, Astro, and experimented with headless CMS backends like WordPress, Forestry, Strapi, Storyblok and HyGraph. I love working in accessiblity and web performance for continuous improvement.
If you are a frameworks person who needs to build something in WordPress, checkout FlyntWP. The components build experience is similar to something like NextJS, IMO. And unlike the frameworks, with ACFPro, you design the UI/UX experience in the backend. Templating is similar to CraftCMS, where they also use Timber/Twig. Of course it adds to the time but the tools and deliverables you have with this means creating something that does not rely conflicting UI or asking your client to learn a little CSS using page builders like Elementor.
I'm currently working in UX Engineering and Project Management.
It's been an honor to serve as an organizer for Google Developer Groups (GDG).
When one of the Midwest GDGs put on an event, I make the effort to serve and help where I can, whether offering a talk or helping in promotion and on the website. This year, I committed to helping friend, Dave Koziol on his plan to run his biggest GDG Devfest event. Myself along with a few other volunteers took over the previous year's ReactJS website over from some college kids and rebuilt it into an attractive and accessible site (scoring 100% with Dequeue tools and the Polypane browser).

My GitHub profile shows an active use of multiple programming languages across private and public repos. Contributions include contributions, commits, pull-requests, and other stats summarized in the counts. I lean-in on delievering accessible, well formed, and readable code which others may encounter.
If you are looking for an experienced teammate to augment and fill out a frontend spot, give me a shout. As a freelance consultant my availability fluxuates, but am always looking to join a team. I am not afraid to speak up for accessibility and take criticism with an open mind.
