Support for numbers without thousand-separators

It is not the most important thing right away, but it would be cool to get numbers that are without a thousand separator. Usecase for us is that we want to have a field "year" - not date, but year.

We could go for the date selector with a custom format - but we literally only want the year and not confuse users with selecting a date within a year.

It's not a difficult issue (less than a day of work for someone that knows the codebase)
