Updated the following dependencies to their latest versions:

  • google_mlkit_barcode_scanning: ^0.14.1
  • camera: ^0.11.1
  • rxdart: ^0.28.0

This update brings:

  • Latest bug fixes and improvements from the ML Kit barcode scanning library
  • Better camera handling with the updated camera package
  • Latest features from rxdart for reactive programming

The update also includes some internal improvements to the codebase to better
handle the updated dependencies' APIs.

Thank you for the push request! I still can't post a new version yet, unfortunately. ☹️

There are currently other bugs that prevent it from working in some cases, and from what I noticed, I think it's because of lifecycle management. I was working on a new version, but I got stuck with work for a long time and had to move away from the framework. I was hoping someone with experience would eventually spot the problem and be able to pick up on it.

I just ran this code, and it still didn't run for the use case I was hoping for. If you can describe all the steps you took to get it working from a fresh project, maybe we can find a midway point and call it a requirement, on a note, when publishing.
