Basic Operation

To begin using the BeanCounter, make sure a battery is inserted and turn the power switch (found on the side of the device, above the "T" in the BeanCounter Logo) into the on position. The segmented display should light up with the leftmost digit blinking. The blinking digit indicates that the BeanCounter is paused and will not increment the count when tape is pulled through.

To begin counting, press the "count/reset" button. The leftmost digit should stop blinking. You can pause again at any time by pressing the "count/reset" button.

There are two different counting modes which can be accessed via the "setup" button. Inventory Mode and Dispense Mode.
