Distributing modified versions of the Instagram app is a copyright violation, as it modifies Meta's application without their consent.
To prevent any legal trouble that could arise because of this, pre-patched SCInsta .ipa files will never be distributed directly from this repository.
However, you can build your own SCInsta .ipa with your own decrypted copy of Instagram, by following the steps outlines in the Building IPA page.
Please check the Troubleshooting section of the Building IPA page.
If you are using an installation method such as AltStore, SideStore or Sideloadly, try deleting the Extensions folder inside the .ipa zip file with a tool such as 7-Zip.
This can also sometimes be fixed by switching to a different version of the Instagram ipa
Push notifications should work out of the box for Jailbroken & TrollStore users.
If you have sideloaded the app, please check out the various installation methods available for SCInsta, and the notification compatibility for each of them.
Without using a supported installation method, notifications will not be available due to limitations imposed by Apple.
This is a limitation imposed by sideloaded iOS apps. The only way to resolve this is to use TrollStore or Jailbroken methods to install SCInsta.
