GOOD Conference Proceedings

This repository receives submissions for the Global Open OnDemand Conference Proceedings.

The submission, acceptance, and publication process is conducted in a spirit of openness; submissions are publicly visible, published articles are open access, and the technologies behind the proceedings are built on open source tools.

All authors, commenters, and editors are expected to show respect and courtesy to each other, following the NumFOCUS Code of Conduct.

Instructions for authors

  • Fork this repository
  • Create a folder in the papers folder (if you are submitting a full paper) or the slides/posters folder (if you are only submitting slides or a poster)
  • Add your content to your folder, following the examples. For papers, MyST markdown will give you the most control of how your paper renders in the web. However, docx papers are also accepted. For posters and slides, PDF is preferred, but any file format is accepted.
  • Whether you are submitting MyST, docx, slides, or a poster, ensure you have a myst.yml file with all relevant metadata.
  • Commit the contents of your folder and create a pull request to the 2025 branch of this repository.
  • You or one of the editors will add a draft label; this will initiate automated checks and a preview build of your paper. Review this final build and ensure the checks pass.
  • Once everyone is happy, editors will switch the label to accepted and your submission is complete!
