Important Announcement

Update August 2025 I thought I had ended Dwains Dashboard. I missed it. I rebuilt version 4.0 from scratch based on the public 3.0 release.

Features: Ultra simple panel layout. Left shows your Areas. Right shows entities for the selected Area. Classic homepage skin. No blueprint screens. Non editable.

Currently in Alpha phase. Test features and report issues on Discord.

Dwains Dashboard 3.x story:

I have paused active development on Dwains Dashboard 3.x since start of 2025 and will focus on my new company (SmartHomeShop.io). Regarding DD 3.x I will try merging community pull requests. 3.0 will have compatibility with Home Assistant 2025.4. If you want to make new PR then please submit it. Once it passes verification, I will merge it and publish a release.

I built Dwains Dashboard as a free, open-source project in my spare time alongside my job. Today my main venture is SmartHomeShop.io, where I develop hardware solutions for Home Assistant and ESPHome. SmartHomeShop.io offers reliable components and ongoing support.

I remain proud of what we built together and motivated to support the community in a new way. If you have valued my work, then also please share my new project SmartHomeShop.io on social media, in Discord channels, or on forums. Your support helps me keep delivering quality solutions. Dwains Lovelace Dashboard

Hello, I am Dwain. I've been using Home Assistant for over two years now. At the end of summer 2019 I thought, "Why hasn't anybody made a dashboard yet that builds itself automatically by providing only minimum configuration info?"

I own a web development company, and I want to give something back to the Home Assistant community. So I decided to build this dashboard and release it to the public. The result: Dwains Lovelace Dashboard.

Install

It are only 3 steps! :) Please note if you had previously Dwains Dashboard v1 or v2 installed you need to follow the upgrade guide explained here.
