@rosic do you have any ideas how to make it capable with the trailing arguments feature?

hmm. Probably also only makes sense for spin push.
How would it be in the file? Maybe following a line with just --?

--someoptions
--
--profile

Then something like detecting that -- separator in global_argvs and merging argvs with items before and trailing_pushed_args with those after?
