Hello,
This adds the ability to send notifications (via "system bell", "email", "mobile push notifications" or any other message configured on your Moodle instance).
Message is sent via adhoc task on the "datefrom".
If notification is updated the task is rescheduled.

Looks really cool, and I know it's been requested before. :) Had a look through and but not at a computer again - is this disabled by default? I suspect some people might not want this automatically enabled when they upgrade next time...?

Yes, this is disabled by default. There is a checkbox on the form to enable it for each notification so people can continue to use it without any notification being sent if they prefer.
