Hi, I am Marvin!

📌 I'm a Research Resident at Midjourney. Previously, I completed my PhD in AI/ML at the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) in Stuttgart (Germany) and Helsinki (Finland). ELLIS Co-Supervisors: Paul Bürkner (TU Dortmund, Germany) and Aki Vehtari (Aalto University, Finland).

🎓 Before that, I studied in Data & Computer Science (MSc) and Psychology (BSc & MSc) at Heidelberg University.

👀 Interested in generative neural networks, deep learning, probabilistic ML, and simulation intelligence.

🛠 I mainly work with Python (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, Keras) and R (CmdStanR, brms, tidyverse).
