Summary
This PR comes with several, non-related changes:
Reuse check functions on file validate helpers; nothing to test, we just reuse code. This code is mainly used on debugging so it does not affect users.
Substantial changes to the backend admin/debug panel, revisiting all the available widgets and make them less error-prone.
There are no specific user tests, this PR mostly improves management/internal tools.
