  1. Review of the actions defined during the previous meeting Actions:
  • Action: Piotr will extend the wiki homepage/how-to contribute.
  • Action: Sergi will do final review and acceptance of Vicent's PR.
  • Action: Piotr will ask Gwen for her availability.
  • Action: Piotr will send a new doodle specifying only weekdays and hours, so there is no confusion.
  • Action: Vincent will review and merge the PR related to editors table.

  1. Discussion on a level of details in specifications

  1. Status of the existing RFC list

    • Command RFC merged to DRAFT. Gratulations to all contributors, editors and reviewers!

    • update on current WIP

    • Properties: work in progress, however, there is a vacation period,

    • Attribute: only a few points to be addressed, will be ready by the next meeting,

    • Device Model:

      • David is on vacation. Vincent becomes the editor.
        • Device server part is moved to the related RFC. A separate PR created.
        • Vincent did a review. Piotr will address the revies. The following parts are missing or need to be improved: a general part, black-box and references to other RFCs.

    • Publisher-Subscriber protocol: - where to put a certain specification? - Subscription related commands' definitions (names, arguments, description) should go to Device Server

      • The RFC is missing an editor. Vincent volunteer.

    • Publisher-Subscriber protocol implementation with ZMQ: the work just started and will be continued when RFC-12 is ready.

      • ACTION: Piotr will send to Igor and Olga a link to some example specification of a protocol implemented with ZMQ.

    • Device server RFC-8 - a PR is created for parts moved from Device Model specification.

    • new RFC-s proposition: no items.

  2. Update the responsible editor's list and contributors

    • ACTION: find editors for RFC-12. Vincent is the editor.
      • ACTION: Find an ediotor for RFC-13 (will be needed upon RFC-12 is done).
    • ACTION: Find a contributor and an editor for RFC-8. Piotr will put a call on the slack channel.

  3. Licensing -> meeting disussion postponed to Semptember. There is a dedicated issue #31.

  4. AoB: no items.

  5. Next meeting: 22.08.2019, 10:00CEST.

    Current Goal: Attribute RFC merged before the next meeting.
