- Since, this adapter relies on fetch API so it won't work in Node environment
This adapter relies on fetch API which requires Node.js 18+, Chrome 42+, Firefox 40+, Safari 10.1+.

For older browsers and Node.js, you need to polyfill fetch with [whatwg-fetch](https://www.npmjs.com/package/whatwg-fetch).
